Jem in the future

Dear Diary,
It's been about 10 years since I wrote to you. I've accomplished many great things since then. I'm now a proffesional football player for Alabama. My arm healed after about a month after I broke it. When it healed, it was stronger than ever. My coach put me on the team as the star quarterback. Now I'm the star quarterback for Alabama. I travel a lot, but still keep in touch with my family and friends. I just went home a few weeks ago. Scout is now 18 and she's finally acting like a lady. Atticus is doing well too. Dill was there. He's in college now. Boo Radley even decided to show up for dinner one night. He's been a lot more open now that he saved us. Well I have to go get ready for the big game. Wish me luck.

Tom-Guilty

Dear Diary,
Well I'm real upset about the verdict. I really thought Atticus would help me. I know he tried, and I'm truly grateful for that. I'm just so upset. I think the reason why I was found guilty was 'cause the jury had no black men on it. The only white person I know who doesn't hate black people is Atticus. Well I guess we still have a chance of winning, but not a very good one. I really miss my family and friends, I just hope they ain't too worried 'bout me. Jail isn't too bad, if you behave. I do, but sometimes the guards are mean to me anyway 'cause I'm black. This world just ain't fair. Well I gotta go, it's time to excersice. I really hope Atticus can help me.

Tom Robinson

Dear Diary,
I been havein a real bad day. I'm at the courthouse now on break. I really appreciate Mr. Finch for standin up for me. I mean if he wasn't my lawyer, I would probablly lose the case. I feel sorry for him though. People don't like when a white man stands up for a black man, even if I am innocent. Mr. Finch is the only one who knows that I'm not guilty. I would never even touch a white girl if she didn't want me to. I would also never hurt anyone less the hurt me first. I don't really know why Mr. Ewell is wants me to go to jail so bad. I never did anythin to him. Well looks like my breaks about over. I really hope Mr. Finch will win this case for me.
